Chianti: The pleasure of driving - 150 km, full day

Morning relay departure from Piazzale Michelangelo or from your hotel. We’ll reach Cantina Antinori in Chianti Classico, the innovative facility surrounded by greenery, where we will stop for a tasting of the best wines produced in the area.

We continue towards Greve in Chianti, capital of Florentine Chianti; in the lively square framed by the porticoes we’ll stop to taste the specialties of the Antica Macelleria Falorni, Tuscan excellence for the production of typical local cured meats. You can instead reach Panzano to have lunch at the restaurant of Dario Cecchini, the "father of steak", which offers traditional meat-based dishes but also excellent vegetarian alternatives.

Getting back on the road, we will cross the rolling hills that offer wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, to reach San Gimignano, an ancient fortified medieval village, famous for its historical-artistic heritage and for its architecture, in particular its towers. Then we will Visit the town, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
At the end of the visit we will continue the journey to return to Florence in the late afternoon.
